While Portland has been ablaze in heat, we have been working on some great updates to our website.
Google+ Sign In
Coming soon to apps and available now on the web, you can log in or sign up using your Google Account. This works with any Google account, even if you aren’t using Google+. To link your Google Account to your existing Celly account, go to the profile / settings page.
This is the first of a series of Google Account integrations, so stay tuned for more, and let us know if you have any ideas.
Better Invite Page
We now have your Celly contacts automatically provided as options on the invite page, and you can add invitees with one click. If you start typing in a username, your friends will autocomplete. This makes creating cells and inviting existing contacts much easier.
We have also added a tab to get the code for the new embed widget, so you can easily add an embed widget to your site for any cell.
Explore Cells – Coming Soon
We are working on a new directory to make public cells easy to share and find. If you want to have your cell added to this directory, make sure it is marked as “public to the world” in cell settings, and that it is tagged with some relevant hashtags. Marking it public means that anyone can see the messages and cell information, even if they aren’t a member.
If you don’t want your cells shared, make sure that “public to the world” is not turned on. It is off by default, but you might have set it up with this way – we just want to give you a heads up before we launch the explore directory.
We are also looking for public cells to highlight in this directory, so if you have a cell you want to promote, let us know at email@example.com . We’d also like to know what topics you would like highlighted.
We’ll be launching this very soon!
